My Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆ (5 out of 5 stars)Review: This was the song that solidified me as a BeForU fan. Oh, I liked DIVE plenty, but it was the only song from them I'd heard, until my local arcade got DDR MAX 2. It was there that I fell in love with BRE∀K DOWN!. This song is one of the best songs BeForU has ever put out, in my opinion. It's fast, fun, great themes in the lyrics, high energy, catchy, rockin'... BRE∀K DOWN! is just a perfect blend for me. This LIVE BAND style version makes the song even better than it was before. Although Noria doesn't play the guitar on this version, the music on the whole is better. I love the new guitar riffs. The vocal quality is also much better. Riyu has tons of energy in this one, and I think her voice suits the style of the song perfectly. Only one minor thing I don't like about this version is that, much like HIMAWARI, it's missing the opening line... In the original version of BRE∀K DOWN!, Riyu shouts "1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4!", but in her Japanese accent, it sounds more like "1, 2, 1, 2, Slee, Fo'!". I love it, it's so cute. How dare they remove the 1 2 slee fo. Grr. But anyway, most of the song is a vast improvement (especially vocally), so I can't complain too much. BRE∀K DOWN! is classic BeForU and is just solid all around. Even my fiance, who is not a fan of most J-music, likes BRE∀K DOWN!. I can't argue!
