Review:
I love the original version of this song, but it's so hard to get, having appeared only on one DDR CD, if I remember correctly. Unfortunately, this is the version of GRADUATION ~sorezore no ashita~ most people probably have, since it was on a BeForU album. I think that's a shame, because it's just not that great.
I love the original GRADUATION ~sorezore no ashita~, the lyrics are awesome, and it just has its own unique sound that I haven't heard in any of BeForU's material before. I really think this version is inferior, though - although the main vocalist is retained, it just doesn't sound very nice without the backup, and overall the quality of the vocals was, in my opinion, not up to par. I usually love Riyu, but I've never liked her unplugged versions of songs.
Other than the vocals, what I don't like is the music. It's supposed to be a piano, which could have been good, but it sounds really tinny and bare. I can think of a lot of things that would have sounded a lot better than a bad piano - like an acoustic guitar, or a good piano...
I hate to be complaining so much about a song when I like the original version so much, but I just don't like this version of the song much at all - I give this one 3 stars vs 4 1/2 for the original version. It's not easy to find, and you can't get it by buying BeForU's albums, but get ahold of the original GRADUATION ~sorezore no ashita~ if you can. It's worlds better.
