My Rating: ☆☆☆☆ (4 out of 5 stars)Review: This is a fun Riyu solo. It's reminiscent in style to many of the LIVE BAND Style songs, poppy rock with Riyu vocals. I liked it instantly on the first listen, in fact, for a while it was one of my favorite songs on the first album. I still think it's a cool song. While I don't like HIMAWARI as much as say, CHIKARA or BRE∀K DOWN!, it's not bad at all. The lyrics are neat, they're a bit of a departure from a lot of Riyu's lyrics. There's a lot of metaphor in this one, but at the same time it's still a pretty light-hearted song. If there's one complaint I have, it's that this album version is missing one of the best parts from the shorter original version. At the beginning of that one, the song kicks off with "Yeah, Yeah, Super Music Start!!". In Riyu's cute little accent, it's funny and cute! I miss it! Overall HIMAWARI is a pretty solid Riyu song. If you like BeForU's fun rockish style songs, you'll probably like it too.
