Although I find it an odd choice for a first single (it is a slow song and not much like the other material BeForU's members had released at that point), I really love this song. Riyu's lyrics, while about a fairly typical subject matter, stick with me. I enjoy her voice with this kind of song. She sings it with emotion and without as much strain as she sometimes puts into her material.

While I don't dislike this version of true..., I do feel that it is not true...'s best version. That honor belongs to the 2003 album version. However, this was the first incarnation of the song, and it's not bad by any means.

Overall I give this version of true... 4.5 out of 5 stars because it's a beautiful, sad song with very little to detract from it.
